Photo: VT"][/caption] Early Monday morning, TMZ.com confirmed Nicki Minaj would be the opening act for Britney Spears’ upcoming North American tour. Last week, as negotiations broke down with the previous opening act, Enrique Iglesias, sources indicated that Spears’ camp was eyeing Nicki Minaj as a potential replacement. As both sides negotiated terms of the deal, Nicki dodged questions, only telling MeetThaDealer.com, “I don’t know yet. Britney’s a beautiful girl whom I love.”

50 Cent Defends Mister Cee’s Lewdness Charge.

The DJ, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun, was spotted performing a sexual act with a 20-year-old male in a car in Manhattan. He was later charged with public lewdness following the arrest. This scandal has shaken up the rap world and turned many of the famed record producer's fans against him. 50 Cent however, remains loyal to the iconic DJ. The rapper spoke briefly with New York's Hot 97 radio personality, Miss Info and said, "I'd make him my DJ any day... It's only entertaining because he (Mister Cee) means that much to hip-hop culture."

In the years since the collaboration, the parties had beef at points, notably in Nas' "Destroy & Rebuild" on 2001's Stillmatic and through interviews in the years that followed. When Mobb Deep signed with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records in the mid-'00s, the group expressed publicly that Nas had intentionally made a similar move to align with then-Jay-Z's Def Jam roster.

Now distributed by Warner Music, Maybach Music has expanded its roster this year to include Philadelphia, Pennsylvania emcee Meek Mill, Atlanta Georgia's Pill and Washington DC rapper Wale. While Maybach also includes Triple C's and R&B singer Teedra Moses, the aforementioned trio is who is believed to be joining Ross on the album art, pictured to the right.

IRS Files $5.6 million Tax Lien Against Lil Wayne.

Photo:Getty Images"][/caption] On March 2, the Miami-Dade County Clerk filed a $5.6 million tax lien against rapper Lil Wayne. According to documents obtained by the Detroit News, Wayne owes the back taxes from the years of 2008 and 2009. The second set of tax penalties, in the amount of $2,258,956, was assessed 20 days after the rapper was released from a nine-month stint in prison on weapon possession charges, while the first set was assessed a month earlier while Wayne was still incarcerated. According to the lien, Wayne can refile the taxes anytime before November 24, 2020.

During an interview with George Lopez, where Snoop laughed off Cameron Diaz’s allegations that he sold her marijuana while they were both enrolled at Long Beach’s Polytechnic High, he confirmed hitting the studio with Sheen.
