Nicki Minaj fever swept across the U.K. all last week as the fashion-forward rap star undertook a dizzying press tour and media blitz, all while becoming the darling of the U.K. press.
On the last weekend of her visit across the pond, the charismatic rapper sat with BBC Radio 1's Tim Westwood and quelled the ongoing rumors that she and her Young Money compatriot Drake are an item, although she flirted with the idea, if only briefly.

Etta James Needs Your Prayers on Her Birthday, Fighting For Her Life.
Soul Veteran Etta James turns 73-years-old today but unlike most birthdays, this one is a fight. A rep for the “At Last” singer has asked fans to pray for the star, who was diagnosed with dementia.
Earlier this month, news broke that James was gravely ill and undergoing treatment for leukemia in California.
Now James’ manager has called for the supporters to help the star through her health problems.

Michael Jackson Doctor Conrad Murray To Be Arraigned.
Cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray, the only person charged in the June 2009 death of Michael Jackson, will be arraigned on Tuesday morning (January 25) on an involuntary manslaughter charge. Murray, who was serving as the 50-year-old pop icon's personal physician at the time, is expected to plead not guilty in the case.
According to CNN, the hearing in front of Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor, is only slated to last a few minutes. While Murray has the right to demand a trial within 60 days, it is not expected that a date will be set for one on Tuesday.

50 Cent has had a go at it with more than a few of his fellow rappers, from his scathing beef with Ja Rule to his venomous war of words with Fat Joe. One clash that didn't escalate, however, was when the G-Unit leader and Cam'ron tossed barbs at each other. According to 50, their dispute wasn't nearly as personal as it seemed. |
Lil Wayne To Launch I Am Music II Tour In March.
Lil Wayne is hitting the road this March for his I Am Music IITtour, the sequel to his record-setting 2009 trek that grossed the superstar over $40 million.
On Monday (January 24), the New Orleans MC announced the outing, on which Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike will join him as opening acts. The 24-city tour opens March 18 in Buffalo, New York, and will feature stops in Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Houston and Atlanta, among other locations. Tickets go on sale February 4 through Live Nation. |

Grammy Award winning R&B singer Jennifer Hudson will release her highly anticipated sophomore album I Remember Me on March 22nd via J Records. The set is lead by the first single “Where You At,” which premiered in full today and was written and produced by R. Kelly and Harvey Mason Jr. The album title, ‘I Remember Me,’ is based on a poem written by Jennifer and composed into a beautiful song co-written by Ryan Tedder that will be featured on the album. Additional writers and producers on the album include multi-award winners Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate. |

His "Big Screen," an Auto-Tune-aided number about the underground star's rise to fame, leaked over the weekend, just before he performed his "Black and Yellow" ode to the Steelers at the AFC Championship game in his hometown on Sunday.

R&B singer Tamia will release her fifth studio album this Spring; the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Between Friends.’ The untitled set features production and songwriting from hitmakers like Darkchild, Chuck Harmony, Claude Kelly, among others.
Like her previous releases, the new LP will remain true to her signature themes of love. "I'm on a roll. Obviously, I love my ballads so they'll be there, too," Tamia tells Kempire Radio late last year.
