Yung Joc Denies Involvement In Studio Robbery

According to WSBTV.com, authorities visited the crime scene on Dec. 18, after the 'New Joc City' creator, born YaMar Robinson, reported the robbery, which he denies taking any part in. Joc claims that his brother and his brother's girlfriend were outside of the studio, located on Boyd Ave., in Atlanta, when an unknown attacker forced them inside the location. Afterwards, their mouths were taped, zip ties were placed around their wrists and they were forced to stay in the bathroom. |
Jay-Z Sued By Workers Compensation Board Of New York

The suit alleges that Jay failed to pay worker's compensation insurance for three months in 2009. The insurance, which was supposed to cover domestic employees in the emcee's home, was allegedly properly paid after the three months. The Workers Compensation Board sued Jay-Z for $18,000 in fines, though sources reportedly say that the figure is the result of a clerical error. |
Nelly Sued For Credit Card Debt By American Express

Just one problem ... AMEX says he never paid it! The credit card company filed a lawsuit against Nelly (real name Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr) in Missouri back in October to try and get their money back (plus another $3,000 in attorney's fees). So far though, they claim Nelly has refused to pay what he owes. A court hearing is scheduled for January 9. Calls to Nelly's camp were not returned. |

He paid homage to her on his last album ‘Thank Me Later’ by sampling ‘(At Your Best) You Are Love’ for his song ‘Unforgettable.’ So now he took it one step further with some artwork on his back. |

According to sources, Snoop is being sued by a Lebanese concert promoter for smoking marijuana at a 2009 performance at the Forum de Beruit, which he claims harmed his reputation in his community. The incident in question was apparently captured on film and later used in the video for Snoop's '09 song "That's Tha Homie" from Malice N Wonderland. |
Buju Banton Appeals Drug Conviction

Additionally, the Gargamel Records artist maintains that there is not conclusive evidence to the conviction, for which he is presently serving. |
