Looks like Rihanna doesn’t want to follow in Whitney Houston’s footsteps for the upcoming remake of The Bodyguard.
After Warner Bros. confirmed the classic film’s remake last month, rumors swirled that Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna were on the short list of potential leads. But the “Only Girl” hitmaker has reportedly denounced the big screen role, saying it wouldn't be a "challenge." |

After playing her role in two groups, Dirty-Money member Dawn Richard is ready to step out on her own. On the heels of her recent mixtape release, #ATellTaleHeart, the former Danity Kane songstress will release her debut effort this fall via Bad Boy/Interscope Records. “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have been in two amazing groups, but I feel like I’ve never had the opportunity to show the world what I can do on my own,” says the 27-year-old singer-songwriter.

Young Buck Facing 10 Years On Gun Charges.

Former G-Unit rapper Young Buck is facing a 10 year bid after being indicted on Monday, March 7th. The Tennesee native was found to be in possession of a .40 caliber pistol and ammunition, which is a serious offence for a convicted felon. Buck has plead not guilty to the charges and has been released on $100,000 bond after surrendering his passport.

In early December, a clip featuring Rick Ross arrived online, in which the Miami rapper chowed down on a piece of bloody meat. That was followed by a trailer a few days later with more gore than the initial tease.
The racy video then hit the Web a week later; however, it never made it to broadcast television. Over the weekend, reports on various entertainment blogs insisted that the "Monster" clip was banned from MTV.

Rick Ross raised a few eyebrows when he reportedly spent a million dollars celebrating his birthday at Miami strip club, King of Diamonds back in February. Such a claim usually falls under the category of ridiculous rapper statements, but in addition to Rick Ross, King of Diamonds’ talent manager, “Disco” Rick Taylor confirmed in detail that the club’s corporate offices had to bring a Brinks truck in to supply more cash.

Kanye West has one less thing to worry about as Judge Virginia Kendall recently dismissed a copyright infringement case against the Chicagoan.The lawsuit was filed by Vincent Peters, who also goes by the name Vince P, in 2010. In the suit, Peters stated that West took the song "Stronger" from him after he gave his copy to a Kanye West associate, John Monopoly, in 2006.
