As a result, the iconic rapper announced on Monday (December 20) via his satellite radio station, Shade 45, that he would broadcast one of the Home and Home concerts he and Jay-Z played in Detroit earlier this year. "As a special treat, for the listeners and the fans who missed the 'Home and Home' concerts with me and Jay-Z, Shade 45 is gonna air my performance from the Detroit show this New Year's Eve at 8 p.m.," Em said. The pair played four shows, two in each artist's hometown, Detroit and New York. The gigs, which featured a number guest performers, went off without a hitch and were praised by fans and peers alike. Wiz Khalifa Taps Snoop Dogg For New ‘Black and Yellow’ Remix.

Roll down the windows — Wiz Khalifa has recruited Snoop Dogg, along with Juicy J and T-Pain, for the official "G-mix" remix to his breakout hit, "Black & Yellow." The two smokers trade Willie Nelson-approved lines on the blue collar number. "Big Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa," the Left Coast veteran raps. "See on the West Coast I'm the Big Chief-a." Meanwhile, the "Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010" more than holds his own on the cloudy tune. "Black and yellow, ahh, black and yellow/ See me now they treating me like I'm somebody special," Wiz spits. "Smoking on that good, know it's me soon as they smell it/ You can chill I'm the one who get it, not the one who sell it/ I grind every day, I'm balling, I can't help it/ N----s on that bullsh--, my pockets full of Celtics."

Kanye West, Swizz Beatz And More Top Producers Of 2010.

Mixtape Daily has spotlight the essence of street culture. And when it comes to those behind the boards, it gets no truer than producers who know how to dig in the crates and find a dusty sample that will inject life into a new composition. These four guys reached deep down, far and wide, to the nether regions of their musical minds to create bangers that became the soundtrack of the past 12 months. Without further ado, we close out our year-end awards by saluting the Top Producers of 2010:..

Omarion “Speedin” is VIBES FM #16 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart 2010.

"Speedin'" is the second single from Omarion's third studio album, Ollusion. The song, produced by 253, debuted at number 73 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The foundation of Speedin is its dynamic production, a simultaneously pounding and symphonic affair courtesy of frequent collaborator 253, who mercifully keeps the car-related sound effects to a minimum, but far more important to the track’s success is Omarion himself, who turns in the kind of emotional, wide-ranging vocal performance he first hinted he was capable of on Ice Box. In other words, if you thought Omarion was only capable of dance friendly r&b-pop tunes, Speedin should help put that myth to rest. ....

T.I. Thanks Fans For Supporting No Mercy.

"What up world? First off I'd like to thank everybody again for going out and supporting the 'Hustle' yet again with No Mercy last week. I can't say enough on how much I appreciate the support and all the positive feedback. I put so much of myself into what I do," he said. "I even read over the negative comments cuz' that's the kind of energy I feed off of to adjust, evolve and improve my craft until it manifests into the closest thing to perfection on the next go-round. I love hearing your opinions on what songs you like most for the next singles. We are taking all of them into consideration as we decide right now on which direction to head in."...

T.I. ‘Might Feel Disappointed’ In Album Debut, DJ Drama Says.

T.I. is sitting behind bars, but if the rapper can take any solace from his situation, it's that his latest effort No Mercy had a strong debut, landing at #4 on next week's Billboard 200. But T.I. associate DJ Drama, thinks the rapper probably has mixed feelings about the news that his album pushed nearly 160,000 units last week. "Tip is the type of guy that, I'm sure, no matter how high it debuted, he might feel disappointed, because he's not here, [and he might] feel like he could have done better," Drama said. "If it does whatever numbers it does, with him being here, it might have done double that. I think this [release] is the toughest one for him. I been a part of his career for the last 10 years, and I seen him in and out of legal problems. But I think this one is a little bit different. Hopefully, this one is the most life-changing one for him.....
