The H.N.I.C. says that Mobb and Nas have more tracks recorded together, and music was more important than “petty bullshit.”

Just weeks after Queens, New York emcee Prodigy returned home from prison, the Mobb Deep co-founder shocked fans when the group released a track with Nas in “Dog Sh*t” . The collaboration, produced by Alchemist and Havoc, was the first collaboration between M-O-B-B and Nas in 11 years, and came after years of conflict between the two parties.

Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid’s Shade 45 radio show this week, Prodigy explained how he and Havoc reunited with Nasir. “We’ve been talkin’ since I’ve been home. We put that [beef] to the side, man, to do this music. The music is crazy right now, that we’re workin’ on…we did a couple of joints. It’s comin’ out crazy; the music is more important than anything or lil’ petty bullshit, so we good on that.” At present, there is no word if or where “Dog Sh*t” will end up, or the titles for the other recorded collaborations.

The G-Unit deejay then asked his longtime friend and onetime label-mate about the initial moments of the parties meeting up again. P explained, “It’s all love. [We] came up together, so it’s all love anytime we see each other.”

Already with an appearance on Jim Jones’ just-released Capo, Prodigy also revealed that as a soloist and with Mobb Deep, he has upcoming material with Waka Flocka Flame, Styles P, N.O.R.E., Tony Yayo
