While Rihanna and Chris Brown claim they’re not together, their candid pictures seem to tell a different story.
Though Chris Brown and Rihanna have been telling anyone who will listen that they are 100 percent, unequivocally, absolutely not dating, there’s certainly been a rekindling of something going on for most of the year. Beginning with Brown’s appearance on Rih’s “Birthday Cake” remix, continuing through the 2012 Video Music Awards and showing up very prominently on Rihanna’s new Unapologetic album (by now, you’ve certainly heard “Nobody’s Business,” right?), their actions seem to suggest a reunion of sorts. And while their words are saying one thing, those pictures, tell another story altogether. Both Brown and Rihanna have rather, uh, amazing Instagram accounts — since deleting his Twitter account, Breezy’s been using his as the primary way of communicating with his fans — and over the past week, they’ve raised more than a few eyebrows with their photos. Not to mention making us all wonder what the definition of “not dating” really is. Rihanna got things going on November 24 with a simple pic of her sitting alone aboard a jet, adding a caption that read, simply, “See u soon lover.” Reports had her flying to Germany to spend Thanksgiving with Brown and the following day, she posted another photo, which seemed to show a shirtless Brown sleeping on a bed. Brown then started dropping hints that the two were spending time together, posting a photo of a collection of watches … one of which would soon show up on Rihanna’s wrist. He also posted a photo of his MCM luggage, and Rihanna would follow suit by posting a pic of her posing with a bag designed by the company. And then, in what is unquestionably the most defiant move yet, there’s the picture Rihanna just posted, showing her embracing Brown, along with a message addressed to his Instagram account: “I don’t wanna leave … killed it tonight baby.” Since that pic made headlines, the two have cooled things off slightly, but there’s no denying the fact that while they might be saying they’re not a couple, well, their Instagram accounts suggest otherwise. There’s a reason the old adage is true: A picture is worth a thousand words. What do you think of Chris and Rih? Let us know in the comments below! |
