Recently Detained Rapper The Game Comes Out On Stage With Lil Wayne…

Amid conflicting reports that he was denied entry and subsequently detained at Canadian borders while on his “Red Nation” tour, it appears that former 50 Cent protégé The Game is no longer under the authority of our neighbors to the north. The Documentary rapper graced the stages of the Honda Center in Anaheim, California alongside Young Money chief Lil Wayne during a stop on the “I Am Still Music” tour lon the April 22 (April 22), thrilling fans into a wild frenzy.

Website Rap-Up uploaded a video of the performance of The Game’s track “My Life,” which features an auto-tuned Lil Wayne on the hook. The Game came on stage rocking his customary red bandana on his face, snatching it off to reveal himself with Weezy introducing the surprise guest to the audience. Both rappers wore red Converse shoes, and the self-proclaimed Chuck Taylor tossed his bandana into the crowd and cocked his hat back and launched into a powerful performance of the song.

A heavy user of the social media tool Twitter, The Game was curiously absent from the site as he was supposedly handling his issues with Canadian authorities. A statement from the promoters of the tour stressed that The Game was detained for reasons not linked to the rapper’s past or current criminal activity. “We as the Canadian promoters for the “Red Nation” tour featuring hip-hop artist The Game, completed all necessary work permits and paperwork to allow him entry into Canada,” shared The Substance Group in a statement.

The promoters went on to add, “The past criminal history of The Game was never addressed in conversation with Canadian officials and at no point was that the issue for his denied entry,” read the statement. “Customs insisted the reason was strictly his current gang affiliations.” Whatever the case may be, Canadian officials are remaining tight-lipped about what they uncovered and why the Compton native was barred from entering the country.
