As his “Rolling Papers” album drops, Wiz will temporarily change his colors back to green as part of an eco-friendly campus tour.

In addition to his appearance at the tenth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival, Pittsburgh’s Wiz Khalifa has announced he will embark on a 17-city “Green Carpet” tour. The month-long stint will consist of various college campuses as part of Reverb’s eco-friendly Campus Consciousness tour.

“We are pleased to welcome Wiz Khalifa to the Spring 2011 Campus Consciousness Tour,” wrote representatives from Reverb in a released statement. “Half rock tour, half environmental campaign, CCT aims to inspire and activate students in an electric atmosphere while leaving a positive impact on each community the tour visits. In addition to educating and mobilizing students, the tour includes many greening elements and is run to have a minimal environmental footprint.”

The tour dates will coincide with the March 29 release of Wiz’s upcoming album, Rolling Papers. In addition to this year’s Green Carpet bill and Bonnaroo, Wiz will also be performing at Coachella. More information is available at the official Campus Consciousness Tour website.
