Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s future together is looking pretty cloudy. And that’s a compliment. The two lanky lyricists are set to star in an untitled movie together and on Tuesday night, the pair released the first single from the forthcoming soundtrack, “That Good.” “Never treat you wrong, to each his own,” Snoop raps on the breezy number. “Snoop and Wiz, the new Cheech and Chong/ We up in smoke, making street schemes/ Smoking sticky green, having sweet dreams.” The two green-minded rappers first joined forces late last year, when Snoop guested on the remix to Wiz Khalifa’s breakout hit, “Black and Yellow.” “Black and yellow, ahh, black and yellow/ See me now they treating me like I’m somebody special,” Wiz spits over the Snoop-featured “G-mix.” “Smoking on that good, know it’s me soon as they smell it/ You can chill, I’m the one who get it, not the one who sell it/ I grind every day, I’m balling, I can’t help it/ N—as on that bullsh–, my pockets full of Celtics.” Since that time, the Snoop and Wiz have been spotted in the studio together collaborating on music in Los Angeles. Both artists have new albums due this year, Snoop’s Doggumentary and Wiz’s untitled debut. Their joint movie and soundtrack project remains untitled and no release date has been set as of press time. In the current issue of The Source, Wiz spoke about being compared to Snoop Dogg. “When people meet me and if they know Snoop … will say, ‘When they do a movie, they better put you as Snoop,’ ” Wiz told the magazine. “And I look up to Dogg, so that’s huge for me. He’s the OG, man. Anybody that compares me to him, that tight.”
