Rihanna and Britney Spears Collaboration a ‘Dream Come True,’ Wants to Spank Britney!
After New York’s radio station Z-100 premiered the remix of Rihanna’s controversial hit single S&M yesterday, which now features a duet with pop star Britney Spears, the buzz seemed to have spread like wildfire. Following the premiere, a rep for Clear Channel spoke out happily about the collaboration.
“Rihanna and Britney together for the first time is a dream come true,” says SVP of Programming Tom Poleman. “Their remix of ‘S&M’ is everything we thought it would be, and I’m thrilled that Z100 is the first place in the world fans can go to hear this amazing collaboration between two incomparable music superstars.”
The “S&M” duet brings together two of the biggest female pop stars on the planet today. “In order to do a remix, it had to be major,” Rihanna explained to morning show host Elvis Duran during an interview just after the song’s premiere. “I asked my fans last week who they really wanted me to collaborate with, and Britney was one of the most popular names. Britney doesn’t do features, and it was really amazing that she wanted to be a part of this song.”

When asked during her if the two would be doing a video for the remixed track Rihanna, 25, responded: “I hope so. I want to spank Britney Spears.”
