Chynna Rogers is dead. According to her management, she died Wednesday in Brooklyn – New York City. She was only 25 years old. “Chynna was loved very much and she will be sorely missed,” her relatives said in a statement, which is available to Pitchfork magazine, among others. No information was given about the exact cause of death. However, according to “Pitchfork”, she always dealt openly with her addiction to drugs.
Already at the age of 14, Chynna signed a contract with Ford Models. A little later she started her music career with the help of the rapper A$AP Mob. Her first single “Selfie” was released in 2013 and her new album was released in January 2020. It is called “In Case I Die First”.
Still on Tuesday the rapper had shared a post on Instagram: It’s a compilation of different video clips showing, among others, the US president Donald Trump. In the first excerpt she herself can also be seen: “I think there are too many soundtracks in our lives. I need music to die,” she says in it. Under the post office, many of her more than 60,000 followers now bid her farewell: “That can’t be true,” writes one fan. “Rest in peace. I will definitely celebrate your birthday. Another person wrote “I love you forever”.
